Léo Lagrange Savate BF

One discipline. Room for every goal.

We teach only Savate: to preserve the purity of its techniques, the consistency of our instruction, and the highest possible level of performance in our field.

A clear path forward

Beginning boxers follow a clearly defined path of progress markers, carefully ranked skills, and grades.

Titles that carry weight

Competition titles are earned through matches and qualifying rounds. Each year, champions must prove themselves again.

Positive team culture

Solidarity, camaraderie, and positive encouragement support success in training and competition.

Since 1983

About the club

The club was originally founded and run by Alain Guillard from 1983 to 1997, earning national and international titles and organizing large-scale events.

Karim Guillard reopened Léo Lagrange Savate BF in 2009. The phoenix symbolizes that return: a club that pairs the pursuit of excellence with the friendliness and moral values of a family association.

“At the same time, we are equally pleased to welcome people who come for enjoyment and recreation, seeking an activity that lets them blow off steam, relieve stress, and stay fit.”

Karim Guillard

Training that keeps moving

Karim trained to coach athletes by combining his STAPS studies with a lifetime spent around training gyms and fight galas. He continues to update his skills as a coach and sports-association administrator.

The club has organized galas for 800 to 1,200 spectators, training camps in Hossegor and Réunion, and coached female and male boxers at national and international levels.
